SUPPORT US
Financial support by Trusts, Foundations and individuals is vital to the work of the Maxwell Quartet. In 2023, we became a registered Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) to further support the work of the Maxwell Quartet.
Our vision - renewing the place of the string quartet within contemporary cultural life both in Scotland and around the world.
We want to play a key role in contemporary musical life for a broad spectrum of society, bringing the experience of chamber music to new contexts, spaces and venues, as well as new audiences, including communities in areas of Scotland with less provision. At the heart of our approach is an exploration of new music and new cross-arts, collaborative projects.
Financial contributions of all kinds help us to develop and realise our ambition as a string quartet. We rely on external support to commission new music, to organise and promote new projects, and to make our events accessible to all.
If you would like to make a donation or support our work, please contact us, as we would welcome the opportunity to discuss our projects with you and how you might be able to help.
