Welcome!

BRIDGING is the first programme of its kind that brings together a string quartet and a local community.

The Maxwell Quartet will be resident in East Lothian from 2024-2027, in a mutually beneficial programme which at once offers the quartet the opportunity to develop their artistic aims as an ensemble, and provides communities in East Lothian with access to live music-making, education, and social cohesion, with particular focus on areas of deprivation based on the SIMD.
