APRIL 2018: Maxwell Quartet record debut on Linn Records

The Quartet has just returned from recording its debut CD on Linn Records, which is to feature string quartets by Haydn alongside their own compositions based on Scottish folk music, drawing comparison between the nature of the two styles. The quartet recorded their CD at Menuhin Hall, Surrey, with Linn producer Philip Hobbs. The CD is due for release in January 2019.
